Rimmel Fix and Perfect PRO Primer 002

This primer, cost me £6 from Superdrug, and I was nothing but disappointed with it.
It claims to, smooth, resurface, brighten, mattify and protect. Nope. I first applied it, using just a thin layer, and it just did nothing, so I applied another layer, so this time it was quite thickly on, and then applied my make-up. Well, if you leave it to dry.... it dries... and my make-up went on horribly.... if you apply your make-up with in 2 seconds on applying the primer, it's a little better but not worth the effort. It made my skin feel kind of greasy and horrible. I tried using the primer without any make-up, and it didn't make my skin look any better at all, all it did was make it look slightly more matt but that was about it.
I would not recommend this at all.

Johnson's Hydrating 24 hour Day Cream with SPF15 For Normal Skin

Okay, so I wasn't exactly satisfied with this product, although that may be my own fault. In all fairness, it does say it is for 'normal skin', and I have oily skin. It didn't keep my face hydrated for long, and my face was still oily. It smells lovely, but it wasn't for me at all unfortunately.
I would still recommend to people who have 'normal skin' as it was only around £2.50 from Wilko's, although it has gone up (on the website) to £4.

Creightons Perfectly Clear Mattifying Moisturiser

This Product cost me just 99p!!!! I picked it up at Home Bargains to give it a try, as I have oily skin and am always re applying my face powder.
This stuff is brilliant, especially for the price!
I use it, well, not even every day, and it keeps my skin oil free for the whole day, I love it.
It's not the greatest moisturiser, but it's definitely good enough for my liking.
I would recommend this product, you can't go wrong for the price!

Seventeen Berry Crush Lip Stain

This product is £4.99 from Boots.
I bought this last year and it still hasn't dried out, and I leave in it my make-up box laying down. It's really nice to apply and gives great colour. Although, I got the shade 'Berry Crush', which looked a sort of dusty rose shade, yet it's bright pink, so was a little disappointed with that. The colour lasts longer than the Rimmel lip stain I have previously written about, but it's still not great. I went out for a drink with a friend, and I applied it whilst in the bar, a couple of drinks later, I went to the bathroom and realised it needed topping up, so I just decided to take it off as I didn't want to be constantly checking if it needed re applying whilst I was trying to have a good time. Although, it doesn't come off completely, it does actually stain your lips, so after taking it off the best I could, I had quite a nice shade stained to my lips which I didn't have to worry about.
The balm that comes with it however, is really nice. It isn't very sticky, and it gives a lovely shine to your lips.
I would recommend this product, but only if you don't mind re applying it every now and then.

Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Tint Faithful Rose 140

So, being made by Rimmel and being £6.99, I thought this product would do exactly what it says.... transfer proof, last all day and moisturise lips.... I was very wrong...
I took one of the lipstains from the back of the shelf so I knew no one would have used it or anything, and yet, when I got home, I applied it and, as gorgeous as the colour was, I had to layer it up an awful lot as the nib was so dry! I left it standing upside down so see if that would help, but nothing. I wasn't very happy.
After layering it up, I tested it out around the house before wearing it out, to see just how long it would last. I didn't even drink/eat a thing, and it had come off in about half an hour! I was left with a slight hint of the colour around the edge of my lips and that was it. That was without using the balm, as I like it to look matt. So I tried it with the balm, again layering it up a hell of a lot just to get some colour, and it was just the same as before. The balm is very sticky, and because of this, takes some of the colour off when applying it, even after waiting a few minutes before applying.
I will not buy this product again, nor recommend, which is a sham because it was the perfect colour I was looking for.

Nivea Daily Essentials Hydration Primer Normal/Comb

So this particular product, claims to absorb instantly, moisturises your skin and helps make-up to stay in place.... I've never tried a worse primer...
First of all, the texture is so runny.... dipping your finger in, you either have to scoop it up so you actually get some of it, or you'll just get the watery type stuff, it's just awful.
I'm a big fan of Nivea products, so I thought I'd give it a try, although it was only £3.32, it wasn't worth it.
When I applied it to my skin, I put a thin layer on, and, like it says, it absorbed straight away.... but that was the problem... it absorbed so much that it was like I never put any on in the first place.
So then I applied a thicker layer, and this was even worse.... Attempting to put on my foundation, it just slid around my face, my make-up would not even stick. I tried leaving it a few minutes and then applying make-up, and then I tried applying the make-up right away.... both were useless.
I would not recommend this product.

Johnson's Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Wash 150ml

This Johnson's Gentle Exfoliating Wash, is just £3.29, from Superdrug.
I absolutely love this!
It claims to polish away dull lifeless skin and impurities, restore skin freshness, gently exfoliate skin and leave your skin feeling noticeably soft and smooth. This product does exactly what it says on the bottle. (for me anyway). I use this a couple of times a week, it is very gentle on your skin. After use, my skin looks healthier, more fresh and feels incredibly soft!
I would recommend this product as it does what it says and it's a very reasonable price.
